Bid Information:

The bids will be received until 2:00PM ET, August 6, 2025, at the Office of the Director of Purchasing of the City of Johnson City at 209 Water Street. All bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. the same day at the Office of the Director of Purchasing. Any bids received after the scheduled opening will not be considered.

Sealed bids to be mailed should be addressed as follows:

Bidder Questions shall be submitted in writing via email to Jennifer Salyer at Jennifer.Salyer@bargedesign.com. All questions must be submitted no later than July 30, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. local time.

An official list of bidders will be maintained at Barge Design Solutions, Inc.’s Plan Room(https://bidding.bargedesign.com/) to ensure eligibility requirements of the bidder are met prior to bid opening. In order to submit a qualified bid, bidding documents must be obtained from Barge Design Solutions, Inc.’s Plan Room (https://bidding.bargedesign.com/). Any bid submitted from a bidder not on the official bidders list will not be opened.

Pre-Bid Information:

One non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled to discuss issues related to bidding the project. The non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Office of the Director of Purchasing, 209 Water St, Johnson City, Tennessee, 2:00PM ET July 21, 2025. Potential Bidders may attend virtually. Potential Bidders may visit the project site at their own discretion.

Hard copy full sets of plans and specifications will be available for purchase at contractor’s expense, which will be fulfilled by the Barge Design Solutions, Inc.’s Planroom (https://bidding.bargedesign.com/) To purchase a hard copy set or download files, you must register for a free account, if you already have an account, simply log in and select “Download” this entire job. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available directly from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents including addenda, if any are obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No part of the purchase will be refunded.
